Twitter inside the terminal

Among social networks, I like Twitter. I use Bitlbee for tweeting with irssi, which allows me to use Twitter inside my IRC workflow, inside a screen along with other tools such as vim, git, cmus, and mutt in tmux.

Workflow tools

The setup keeps social interaction within the same terminal environment as development work. The tools listed in the original log include:

• Bitlbee for Twitter connectivity
• irssi for the IRC interface
• screen for the terminal session
• tmux for managing the terminal environment
• vim, git, cmus, and mutt alongside the chat workflow
